Aug. 2020 - Our campground after climbing Mt.Lyell
Aug. 2020 - The glacier was so small we didn't actually need to cross that much, but if I carry an ice axe for 3 days you better believe I'm gonna use it! We overlanded for 3 days to get to Lyell and took the trail out on the fourth day.
Aug. 2020 - Most of Lyell was easy... with one execption. Right after the glacier there is a very frightening scramble up to a sloping plateau. I would say parts of that "scramble" are 5.6 free soloing moves. My dad disagreed, saying that John Muir classified it as 2nd class. Crazy great adventure either way!
Senior year surf trip, no pictures of surfing because we were all busy surfing
I got on the news (click to see) because I decided to paddleboard down the street during some flooding.
Gotta love skiing trips with the family
