This single-pivot mountain bike came about as a tool for rapid hands on learning. As a new club, we wanted to develop the most wisdom and experience possible. With this in mind, full suspension and carbon fiber were two areas we knew the least about. After completing the mountain bike, we brought it to Sea Otter 2023 and pedalled for sponsors ;) which is how we secured Ohlins as a sponsor for our next bike! One of the most important things I learned was the value in prototyping in steel, which is soooo much quicker and easier to build with.
